The County will soon be providing opportunities for community involvement in the development of the Infill Program through community workshops, online surveys, and pop-ups at local events. The information below will be updated as details become available.

Past Outreach

Online Survey: Community members participated in an online survey to share feedback on how and where to prioritize future infill development in the County. The online survey was available from March 6, 2023 through April 10, 2023.

 

Pop Ups: The project team held a series of community outreach events to inform residents about the Infill Program Update and provide an opportunity for residents to share their input and ideas. Thank you to everyone who was able to join us! See below for information about past events: 

  • Saturday, March 18, 2023 from 7:00 am to 1:00 pm: Spring Cleaning Community Yard Sale – located at Pat O’Brien Community Center, Waterman Rd., Sacramento, CA 95829.
  •  Sunday, March 19, 2023 from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm: Carmichael Farmers’ Market – located at 5750 Grant Ave., Carmichael, CA 95608.
  • Saturday, April 8, 2023 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm: Spring Extravaganza and Egg Hunt – located at 3244 Freedom Park Dr., North Highlands, CA 95652
  • Sunday, April 23, 2023 from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm: Sacramento Earth Day – located at Southside Park, 2115 6th St., Sacramento, CA 95818

     

 

Virtual Community Workshop: The virtual community workshop was held on Thursday, April 6, 2023 at 6:00 pm.  

Community members attended and provided feedback about barriers to infill development, incentive ideas, and development preferences.
